On the value of beginnings

"A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct."

- from 'Manual of Muad'Dib' by the Princess Irulan

It's a strange thing to suggest something which is not especially new is, in fact, new. To our clients, Rice PR has been running for some time.

But for us January 2017 really does represent a beginning. We have our first website, fresh branding and our new offices near the SS Great Britain on Bristol's lovely harbourside. In a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, no less. Which is all incontrovertibly fancy.

So an exciting time, but more importantly a better place to constantly review, renew and reinvigorate our client offering and client service.

We'll be blogging from-time-to-time, when we draw a usefully interesting conclusion on aspects of our work or industry. But for now we're just saying "hello" and "we hope you like our site."

By crashing in with a clunking great quote about the value of delicacy at beginnings - from sci-fi classic Dune, no less I'd say I've failed entirely to be especially delicate. But, then, it isn't really a beginning, is it.
